Welty - Frances E.

At her home in the So. part of town, Mrs. Frances E. WELTY
died at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. She was born in Rutledge, TN
May 7, 1817. At an early age she removed with her family to Ky.
In 1849 she was married to John Welty. They came to Crawfordsville
the fall of 1854. Two children survive her, George and Mary, who
reside in this city. At the age of 13 she united with the Baptist
Church and has ever since been a consistent member. The funeral
will occur at the family residence at 10 o'clock Sat. morning
conducted by Rev. Runyan assisted by Dr. Nave. Interment at Oak
